What you get: Three Commitments
Commitment A — Workmanship guarantee
If you’re not happy with our cleaning or inspection visit, we come back free until you are.
Commitment B — Inspection-miss labor credit — 45-day window
If our inspection misses a maintenance issue we should have caught — corrosion at electrical contacts, loose panel mounting hardware, visible electrical-component water or moisture damage, or dirt affecting production — and you pay to fix it within 45 days, we credit the repair labor on your next service visit. (Excludes: roof leaks or roof-penetration leaks, hardware electronics failures, structural roof issues, wind/hail/storm damage, and anything covered by manufacturer warranty.)
Commitment C — Warranty Navigation Commitment — optional $15/month add-on
Hardware failures — inverter, battery, panels — are covered by your manufacturer warranties for the part itself.
What your $15/mo Warranty Navigation covers: we file the warranty claim, communicate with the manufacturer, order the replacement part, and schedule the install. You don’t chase, fill out forms, or wait on hold.
What your $15/mo does NOT cover: the labor SouthFace performs to actually install the replacement part. Install labor is billed at our standard rate, with your 10% Service Plan repair discount and zero trip charge. If your manufacturer warranty separately covers labor (some do), the install is included at no charge. We tell you upfront which applies.
Manufacturer approval and coverage depend on each manufacturer’s warranty terms — we navigate and advocate on your behalf, but the final approval is theirs. If a claim is denied, we’ll explain the denial and walk you through next steps. If your equipment is no longer under manufacturer warranty, Warranty Navigation cannot file a claim — we’ll let you know upfront if your system is out of warranty so you can decide whether to keep the add-on.
Cancel Warranty Navigation anytime before we’ve filed your first manufacturer warranty claim. Once we file a claim on your behalf, the add-on stays active until the claim is fully resolved plus 30 days — that way we can finish the work without billing complications. After that 30-day window closes, you can cancel anytime, no questions.

How pricing works
How pricing works: we first match your home to the correct service area using your address. Then we calculate your plan price based on the number of solar modules on your system. Your plan includes a $149 start-today payment, followed by 11 monthly payments. The monthly amount includes your service-area rate plus your system-size adjustment: up to 20 modules is the base monthly rate, modules 21 to 30 add $1 per module, and modules 31 and above add $0.50 per module. I purchased a 40 kw backup battery system from SouthFace. About 10 months after the purchase one of the inverters went out. EP Cube was great about replacing it immediately. SouthFace came out the day after I received the replacement inverter & swapped out the bad one. It was too late in the day to commission the new one so they are coming out today to do that. Danny did a great job! Thank you.
